There is plenty of pie for everyone! Teach the organization of writing by using the this story as a mentor text for the structure of repetition.
Click on pie for reading and writing lesson plans that include a beginning, middle, end graphic. The plans also include sentence frames for a shared writing activity.

The sentence frames proved to be helpful for the ESL students in my class.
Some totally relied on the frames, and some made their own variations.
