I used the sequence of events organizer in whole group instruction with my first graders today. Then they used the organizer to help them write a response in their reading log.
They were all highly successful in completing this task. Real growth was noticed today.The struggling students were able to transfer ideas and words from the organizer to help them write a basic sequence of events draft.
